I was wondering if I did the typical “This is what was accomplished this year and here’s what we’re looking forward to next year” post, would I need to create a new one in a week or so for the new year? I’m thinking “No”.

It has been a pretty good first year though (well “official” first year). A lot of learning and thankfully not too many mistakes. More professional gear has been purchased, I have a trailer built to haul everything, actual uniforms and I’m starting to build a client base. I was able to handle a smaller commercial job and was asked about trying to tackle a bigger one (maybe that comes into fruition next year). I’ve been able to help people who were in a bind, on short notice, or just interested in my work as they saw me doing someones home.

For the most part things were relatively steady throughout the year. Obviously I want to tackle as many jobs as possible and always want more, but as it stands this is still my side job so there’s only so much I could take on or effectively advertise for. Still, I’m looking to greatly expand on everything next year. It’s all a process and while I’d love to have the biggest truck, trailer, equipment and a client list a mile long that’s just not life. Usually things are earned and not just given.

It was a good year and I’m really looking forward to the next one.

Merry Christmas
